I offer handcrafted stools that are available in a variety of clear finished woods and also in painted versions. This stool is constructed using all of the strengths and advantages of windsor joinery. Walnut and cherry clear finished ones tend to take on a slightly more modern edge and, milk painted versions fit in seamlessly with classic of modern decor. Each seat is hand carved so as to be extremely comfortable, and it bears all the beautiful little facets and texture signatures of those hand tools. The legs are turned on a lathe and then steam bent to create a gentle flair in the lower portion of each leg. The adds a wonderful ascetic and adds to the overall stability. My standard stool is 24″ tall and works very well with 36″ island heights, but I can easily customize the height to suit your needs. Prices begin at $475 for single stools, sets are also available.
